02 Fatigue

When you don’t eat enough food according to your body and age you don’t get sufficient energy that is required by the body to perform the functioning. All this results in fatigue, which adversely affects the body mass, weight and overall metabolism as well.

Undereating often leads to an imbalanced diet. And continuous undereating reduces the efficiency of the body to fight illness-causing bacteria. As a result, you fall prey to common illnesses, such as common cold.



04 Hair fall

According to a study published in 2013, undereating also results in hair fall. It has been proven that deficiencies in proteins, minerals, essential fatty acids, and vitamins can cause hair loss, changes in hair colour and even structure.



05 Reproductive problems

When you don’t eat properly, the loss of nutrients also affects the sex hormones, blood circulation and even breathing processes. According to researchers, insufficient calories adversely impact the reproductive system in men and women too.



06 Constantly feeling cold

Naturally, the human body has a temperature that is maintained by a lot of factors that also includes the calories consumed every day. When the number of calories reduces, it adversely drops the temperature which can create a constant feeling of being cold.



07 Constipation

Eating too few calories may cause constipation. It has been proven that when a person eats less, the body has less food to convert into stools, which naturally causes constipation. It further affects the entire digestive system resulting in other abdomen issues.
